Lee and colleague did an amazing job today replacing my old rear garden fence and installing a new trellis fence in garden. They were polite, hard working and very efficient. More importantly their price was reasonable and the job was done to a very high standad. My wife can't wait to buy her new plats in spring!

I would like to say a huge THANK YOU to Character Gardens.
Lee came to our rescue after another gardener had done such a terrible job of laying our new lawn. Character Gardens provided a speedy, professional and high quality job that we are absolutely delighted with. They also planted a Laurel hedge, removed a tree stump and repaired the boundary wall. The garden is looking lovely and I would certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Character gardens have just finished my garden, ive had some decking, small patio, and some fencing done. Lee and his team have done a fantastic job from start to finish and I will recommend them to anyone! We came across Character Gardens by chance via the Yellow Pages and were very glad we did. From the very first contact we had with Lee, he was very helpful and willing to come and see us to find out exactly what we required for our garden, despite being very busy at the time. He gave us different ideas as to what could be done with the garden which fitted in with our vision of what we wanted it to look like. Lee then gave us a quote which we found to be very reasonable given the labour that was required and the materials that would be needed. Lee then said that the project would take five days and then arranged to come on the dates we agreed. We were away on holiday at the time and Lee kept us informed of how things were progressing as required. If any problems were encountered Lee and Brendan got in contact and were able to improvise with a minimum of fuss. We were happy to trust Lee when we were away and when we got back from our holiday after 5 days we were not disappointed! The garden looks absolutely fantastic and we cannot believe it actually belongs to our house! A number of our friends and neighbours have commended to us the workmanship and professionalism of Lee and Brendan in undertaking their work. We are now in the process of asking Lee back to come and do some further work for us in the near future and we would happily recommend Character Gardens to other people. We are a young couple with four children, and as anyone would appreciate, money has to be well managed and spent carefully. Sarah and myself are absolutely useless at gardening and as such, had let it get out of control. We decided enough was enough and rang around for a few quotes on a total garden transformation that would be virtually maintenance free for us. After a few companies came to view our garden, we nearly cancelled our plans when we received their quotes. We knew it wasn't going to be cheap but we were not prepared for the prices they were asking. Character Gardens were the fourth company to give us a quote. We nearly snapped their hand off! They came across as lovely lads and were only too willing to listen to our needs. The advice they gave us was first class and to top it all, they were able to provide their services for about half the price. As we live in a council house we made the price an absolute priority, and Sarah and I agreed that as long as the garden was tidied up a bit, then that would do for us. We felt as the quote was a lot cheaper than other companies, the standard would perhaps be lower. How wrong we were! The two lads agreed to start on Monday 13th October and said the job would take about five days. They arrived bright and early every day and managed to overcome any hurdles with the minimum of fuss. They kept us informed of things at all times and even though Sarah and I both work, they made sure their work never interfered with ours. We literally saw our garden transform on a daily basis, and it became apparent that any reservations we had regarding the quality of their work became a non-issue. Lee and Brendan were hard working and meticulous in everything they did. They took so much pride in their work and when they completed the project, it left Sarah and I completely satisfied with their workmanship and delighted with our new garden. We can now be proud of our garden and have had plenty of neighbours asking if the lads could give them a quote! We are wanting our front garden revamped after christmas and we won't be wasting loads of time ringing around for quotes. We only need one number now and we wouldn't hesitate in recommending Lee and Bren to anyone. A first class job done by first class lads, cheers boys!

Lee and Character Gardens first helped me by taming an overgrown patch in my garden and created a wonderful patio area. Character Gardens now visit on a monthly basis to mow the lawn, weed and dig designated areas for me. This monthly visit has made a huge difference and now allows me time to actually enjoy my gardening again rather than feeling the weeds are winning! Lee is aware of my long term plans and projects for the garden and is happy to work slowly towards helping me achieve these.

Character gardens is a fantastic company, i would recommend Lee and his team to anyone needing any job doing with there garden, big or small, Lee will beat any quote given already! We only have a small garden but it desperatley needed sorting out, we got a few quotes then tried Character Gardens, Lee beat the lowest quote we had been given by half! We were thoroughly pleased with Lee's work! My mum had needed her front and back gardens doing, so we had Lee quote her and her gardens (which are rather large) were spectacularly transformed! She now has a fantastic block paved driveway and the newly turfed back garden is great for when we take the kids up! i would most definatley recommend anyone whos gardens need some TLC to give Character Gardens a call!

We had our drive paved about 3 year ago by a other company,they laid the slabs down with sand and over the years the flags started to come up crack and in the end were very dangerous.The drive was desperate for attention so we called a few company for quotes Character Gardens beat all the other company's.They started on the monday took up all the paving flags and laid them on a cement bed so that it was solid,they did such a good job of the drive that my husband who by the way is very particular about things offered them the job to do our back garden,which he was going to do but just never found the time.it took them 7 days to do our garden whitch is a very big garden!they have liturgically revamped it and i must say it is the best garden on our street we are very happy and would recamend them to anybody. They are reliable good time keepers and very hard working lads,keep up the good work lads im sure you will be a big success. kind regards david & karren barrett cookridge

I can't recomend Character Gardens enough after the excellent job they've done on my garden! I had been left with a real mess of a garden by the previous occupants - very unlevel, full of junk, tree stumps and all sorts. Lee and Brendan, assisted by Lee's Dad for some of the time, brought in a mini digger and removed all the rubbish and levelled the garden. They had to remove at least two foot of soil in some places! They then prepared the ground very well and laid new lawn. All the way through Lee talked to me about any minor changes needed from the original plan as the work progressed, he also was very good at balancing the budget so when something cost less than expected (i.e. less skips needed) it meant he could carry out the extra work I requested under the original budget! He even managed to get me 2 tonnes of gravel to allow my son and I to finish a project we started at the side of the house. I've asked Lee to come back and do another small job for me and he's kept me informed about start dates and costs. He is also coming to check on the progress of the turf laid and has advised both myself and my son on how to look after it. Lee and Brendan are very likeable and friendly gents who work to a very high standard and are entirely trustworthy.
I've got to say it again - I highly recommend Character Gardens.
